Arrangementer, konferencer, symposier mv.
Climate Change: Health and Ecology on 1-3 September 2010 Uppsala, Sweden. An interdisciplinary conference linking research from veterinary and human medicine, marine and terrestrial ecology and evolution.
The aim of the conference is to bring together scientists from different countries and branches of research, encourage exchange of ideas and networking on new areas. Research fields include physiology, ecology and evolution, veterinary and human medicine, and wild-life conservation.
Climate Change Impact, Adaptation and Mitigation - Researchers Day on 7 October 2010, Copenhagen Linking economic and social development with climate change.
The purpose is to present an overview of Danish knowledge within climate change research related to international challenges and developing countries; to increase cooperation between climate change researchers from different disciplines including natural, social, health and economic sciences, and to provide room for networking and discussion between climate change researchers. Deadline for submission of abstracts is 15th of August.
The Danish Centre for Environmental Assessment (DCEA) and International Association for Impact Assessment (IAIA) announce European Special Symposium on Climate Change & Impact Assessment on the 25-26 October 2010 in Aalborg, Denmark.
The symposium is an opportunity for practitioners and researchers to meet and discuss current topics within climate change and impact assessment through interactive spaces and dialogue.
Nordic Research Day on Impact Assessment on 27 October 2010, Aalborg, Denmark presents an opportunity for researchers to discuss current and potential research and ideas within impact assessment in a Nordic context.
Climate Adaptation in the Nordic Countries: Science, Practice, Policy: International conference 8-10 November 2010 in Stockholm. The conference is an initiative of the Nordic Climate Change Adaptation Research Network (NORDCLAD-Net) and will explore the links between adaptation science, practice, and policy. Taking an interdisciplinary perspective and involving stakeholders, the aim of the conference is to deliver insights for a socially relevant research agenda that advances the emerging science of adaptation and meets the needs of practitioners and policymakers.
The conference invites scholars interested in climate risk, vulnerability and adaptation in a Nordic setting. Practitioners and policymakers are explicitly invited in order to stimulate discussion and the development of ideas between the realms of science, practice and policy.

Tilsvarende omhandler den nordiske rapport Physical Climate Science since IPCC AR4 - A brief update on new findings between 2007 and April 2010 en opdatering af viden.
Transportministeriet har offentliggjort sin nye klimatilpasningsstrategi.
